Rainwear x Gorp Girls

Client: The North Face

As the gorp trend and aesthetic continued to dominate, The North Face capitalised by partnering with a group at the forefront of the movement to promote an accessible rainwear collection.

The Brief

To launch The North Face’s new Rainwear collection, we were tasked to create authentic editorial content that would resonate with a young consumer.

The Project

We collaborated with the female-led, outdoor collective Gorp Girls to create elevated visuals that also tied into the functionality of the product.

The imagery was entirely shot on film, depicting the natural joy of being outdoors with friends. The true connection felt between the members of Gorp Girls is visceral as we're taken on a hike with them, just like one of the gang.

Like all the best AW season shoots, the production landed on the hottest day of the year 🤷, but the spirit of the collection shines through.

The Impact

The photography series was posted on talent and brand channels, and was later picked up and organically featured in Dazed Magazine.
